The person i admire most

The person I admire most would have to be my grandfather Anthony. He had a hard life he was alive for World War One, and World War Two. When he was a kid he would have to get up really early and work on the family farm, at eight years old! During World War Two he was captured by the Nazi’s and taken to one of the work camps. There he met soon to be Pope John Paul the second. Later he also escaped with two other people he met there. He worked very hard all through out his life and then had to work extra hard to bring a family of nine to America.  Unfortunately he died when I was two but I have very strong memories of when he was alive and we played with my pirate ship edision legos, or when he would go tell me and my big sister to go tickle my dad and then run back to him because he would protect us. He, my big sister, and I also used to watch gingerella ( that’s what he called Cinderella). That is why he is the person I admire most.

Dear Dad,  Thanks for every thing. You let me work for you in the summer and you buy us food and clothes. You make it possible for us to live with a good life. I would like to sincerely thank you for every thing you do for me and the rest of the family. So thank you. Sincerely,           Justin W

My Accomplishments

This year I had many great accomplishments but the one I think was the greatest was my grade of a 90 in language arts for the fifth marking period. I usually fail for the mid-term but then I pull my self together and get like a 79-84 but this time I committed my self and pulled off a 90. It wasn’t easy for me but I pulled it off with the end of the fifth marking period coming I was nervous too. When we got are mid-terms mine wasn’t very good and I thought that I was going to get a grade that I usually get in the 79-84 grade area, so I did all the work I was missing and then that one afternoon it was a bad day outside and we were leaving from school early because of the weather so we went to lunch and after that we went to our home rooms to get our report cards. Since my last name starts with a W, I was last and as you can probably tell, that just made me even more nervous. Finally I got mine, and I hesitated to look at it at first but when I did I realized I did well in this class. I got a 90 the highest grade of all my classes for that marking period. When I got home I showed both of my parents and they were both proud of me for doing well in that class. Yet they were also a little disappointed in me because of the grade I got in my other classes. So for this marking period I am aiming for all A’s and I can do that I get twenty bucks.
